Over four exciting sessions, learners will explore four types of creative writing: - Narrative Writing: Craft short stories with strong characters and engaging plots. - Descriptive Writing: Paint vivid pictures using sensory details and figurative language. - Persuasive Writing: Create catchy ads or speeches that convince your audience. - Poetic Writing: Play with rhythm, imagery, and emotion to express yourself through poetry. Each class includes: - A fun warm-up and writing challenge - A short mini-lesson with examples - Guided writing time with feedback - A share-and-celebrate segment where students can read their favorite lines By the end of the camp, students will have their own mini "Outside the Box Anthology" featuring their best work. This class encourages creativity, confidence, and a love for writing in a supportive and positive environment.
