This course is designed with care to provide a historically accurate, faith-rooted, and developmentally appropriate overview of United States history for students in 4th and 5th grade. The goal is to build a love for learning about our nation’s past while honoring God’s truth and guiding hand throughout history. Key Considerations: All content will be based on established historical facts. The tone is respectful, age-appropriate, and non-political. Lessons will avoid controversial or graphic content and instead highlight positive character traits, God’s providence, and courageous individuals who helped shape the nation. Faith connections will be integrated naturally, such as highlighting prayer in times of hardship, Biblical values in leaders' decisions, or how God uses ordinary people for extraordinary purposes. No denominational doctrines will be taught—faith applications will focus on Biblical principles all Christian families can embrace.
