Required: Good and the Beautiful Kingdom and Classification 1.Course Book 2. Student Journal for grades 3-6 Optional supplies to participate in labs and activity: I will be performing all the labs or we will be watching them from the Good and the Beautiful youtube channel. If students would like to perform the labs with me, I will list the supplies below. Lesson 2: For lab: -Microscope, glass slides and coverslips -methylene solution -toothpicks or clear tape Lesson 3: Prep for lesson 6 Agar plates purchased online or 5 paper cups Plastic Wrap 5 rubber bands 1/2 cup water 2 tsp sugar 2 tsp gelatin Lesson 6: Agar plate or pre-prepared paper cups 4 cotton swabs Lesson 8: Activity Supplies 15- 20 Random household items such as office of house hold supplies, paper clips, rubber bangs, pencil, sticky notes, hair elastic, penny, bobby pin, eraser, toys, Legos, etc. Lesson 9: Experiment Supplies: -3 empty disposable water bottles -3 balloons - Marker - 3 portions of 1/4 c. water each. 2 portions warm and 1 portion cold - 3 T. active dry yeast -1 T. sugar - Bowl -Funnel - Spoon or Whisk Lesson 14: M&M or other hard shell candy Lesson 16: Pipe cleaner 10-15 beads
