Course Description

Relationships are challenging and require effort. In this class, we will: ✔︎ discuss the importance of friendship ✔︎ identify key points to being a good friend, such as showing appreciation, talking less and listening more, asking questions, remaining consistent, and many other ideas) ✔︎ discuss creative ways for finding friends with whom we have things in common ✔︎ role-playing ✔︎ discuss ways to use one's time productively when dealing with a lack of friends ✔︎ create a mind map to record ideas and information learned ✏️ Mind-mapping is a helpful way to keep track of sub-topics under a main topic. In addition, taking notes and role-playing are recommended ways to help students remember what they've learned. ✔︎ We will end class by determining action steps for moving forward. This class is meant to inspire immediate change in learners. Learners will need to feel comfortable taking notes and participating in group discussions. Here's to building more happy and healthy friendships in the future!
