Learn basic Spanish vocabulary through sight, repetition, and action. This Part Two beginner's course will introduce household items, animals, and more.
Each week of this course features beginning Spanish words in a different category. ✨Each class will include: • looking at the words • reading and repeating the words to ensure proper pronunciation • writing the words • discussing creative ways to remember the words • drawing a picture of the words • reviewing words, if time permits Each class includes 10-12 words. This kinesthetic learning hands-on class makes learning Spanish vocabulary words simple, memorable, and fun! ★ For continued learning after class, students may place their word cards around the house to help identify objects, or turn their cards into a variety of fun learning games, such as Memory, Jeopardy, 20 Questions, etc. NOTE: This class is intended for beginning writers, even those who may be struggling a bit with their writing (reversed letters, slow and uneven, unstructured, etc.). Writing vocabulary words on index cards is wonderful writing practice! If your learner is more proficient with writing (can quickly write words correctly on their cards), you may consider enrolling them in the class for 9 to 12-year-olds, since that class moves at a more rapid pace.
