Friendship Club (Kinder): Show and Tell & Social Skills

Course Summary

Join us in the Friendship Club where we'll practice finding friends and being a friend. Show and Tell is a fun way to practice social skills, build confidence, and make new friends.

Course Description

The Friendship club is a two-session course that gives preschoolers an opportunity to interact with friends their age, improve their social skills, and build confidence. This course will include the following activities: • Social skills that will be introduced include: ✔︎ Basic body language (smiling, paying attention) ✔︎ Friendly greeting (eye contact, saying hello) ✔︎ Speaking clearly ✔︎ Asking and answering questions • Show and Tell will provide preschoolers with the opportunity to both share about themselves and learn about others. Participates may share a favorite toy, book, stuffed animal, pet, hobby, art or craft, gift, vacation souvenirs, etc. • Questions and conversation will be encouraged.

Content Considerations

Participants are encouraged to avoid sensitive topics when sharing items for Show and Tell.
