Celebrate fathers as we learn how Mother's Day is celebrated in five countries and make a handmade Mother's Day card.

Course Description

Mother's Day is an opportunity for us to honor mothers as God commanded in Exodus 20:12 - "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee." This class will help students gain a greater appreciation of mothers and the Mother's Day holiday. We will make a Mother's Day card.

Syllabus

• Discuss God's command for us to honor our mothers • Short five country visual Mother's Day presentation (USA, Bangladesh, China, Finland, Germany) • Observe fine art celebrating mothers • Make Mother's Day card
