Learn about composers, including insight into their spiritual lives. Learners will make their own simple book about each composer.

Course Description

The lives of composers are filled with valuable lessons that can be applied to our lives. This open-series course provides an opportunity to learn about twelve composers in twelve months. Join all twelve classes, or select from your favorites. See composer schedule in syllabus section. ★ Each class will include: • a short story about the composer • interesting facts, including spiritual details of the composer's life • a brief quiz to increase comprehension skills • listening to a portion of a song composed by the artist (music appreciation) • a hand-made book project • show and tell ★ The book project will include: • folding and stapling paper to create a simple book • cutting out images • gluing images into book • basic drawing and writing ✨ Students will have the opportunity to show their books at the end of class.
