Course Summary

Celebrate fathers as we learn how Father's Day is celebrated in five countries and make a handmade Father's Day card.

Course Description

Father's Day is an opportunity for us to honor fathers as God commanded in Exodus 20:12 - "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee." This class will help students gain a greater appreciation of fathers and the Father's Day holiday. We will make a Father's Day card.

Syllabus

• Discuss God's command for us to honor our fathers • Short five country visual Father's Day presentation (USA, Japan, Australia, Paraguay, Netherlands) • Observe fine art celebrating fathers • Make Father's Day card
