Course Description

In this fun and interactive class, students take a guided virtual field trip to the White House—the home of the President and one of the most important buildings in the United States. We’ll explore what the White House looks like inside and out, learn who lives and works there, and discover how it has changed throughout history. Students will see famous rooms, talk about why the White House was designed the way it was, and learn interesting facts that make this landmark come alive. The class is designed to feel like a real field trip, with visuals, discussion, and plenty of chances to ask questions and share ideas. After our virtual visit, students become engineers and builders as they design and create their own version of the White House using LEGO bricks. They’ll think about shape, size, details, and layout as they recreate what they observed during the field trip. At the end, students are invited to share their builds and explain their design choices. This class blends history, creativity, and hands-on building to make learning memorable, engaging, and fun—all from home.
