Course Summary

Learn about patience from Patrick the Turtle and his friends in this fun character-building class. We will also be making a colorful turtle!

Course Description

Patrick the Turtle has much to teach us about the virtue of patience as he navigates his relationships with his friends in the Land of Virtues. "Patrick the Turtle is not happy at all, he's not happy at all and here's why: he moves too slow when he walks around, when he would rather run or fly..." Join us in class to hear the rest of the story! We will read the cute original story and briefly discuss how we can apply patience in our own lives. This is a great way for learners to practice listening comprehension. For the hands-on craft project, we will make a colorful turtle. This craft will entail basic drawing and coloring, which can help to strengthen fine motor skills. At the end of class, learners will have the opportunity to showcase their finished turtle during Show-and-Tell. Stories and crafts are a fun and memorable way to build character. Don't miss the other character-building classes in the Epic Virtue Adventures series! Would you like to request that a certain virtue be included in the series? Simply send me a message!
