Course Summary

Celebrate the changing seasons with winter-themed art projects.

Course Description

In this four-week course, students will use their imaginations and creativity to draw winter-themed art projects, including: • Christmas Sweater and Hat • Christmas Tree and Ornaments • Polar Bear or penguin • Snowman or Snow Globe A few pictures will be provided each week to help spark creative ideas. Creating art invites moments of stillness into a child's day and can be a mood enhancer. Drawing, coloring, molding clay, and painting can also work to strengthen fine motor skills. ★ Students will have the opportunity to showcase their art project at the end of class and be inspired by the artwork of others.

• Art paper of choice (cardstock, computer paper, construction paper, mixed media paper) • Art medium of choice (colored pencils, crayons, markers, finger paint, watercolors, paint, oil pastels, clay, play dough, etc.)
