Course Description

🚓 In this four-week class, we will: • discover the exciting world of community helpers • learn about community helper responsibilities • create a neighborhood map • create community helpers • draw a picture or write a thank you card for a community helper ★ Check out all three parts in the Community Helper Series: Part One: plumber, doctor, farmer, fire fighter Part Two: garbage collector, librarian, mail carrier, nurse Part Three: dentist, police officer, teacher, veterinarian Register for one or more parts in the series in any order.

★ Manilla file folder (each folder can likely be used for four classes) ★ One plastic sandwich bag (each bag can likely be used for four classes) Weekly Class Supply List: ✔︎ Stapler ✔︎ Scissors ✔︎ Glue sticks ✔︎ Pen or pencil ✔︎ Crayons or markers ✔︎ Scrap colored paper ✔︎ One 3" x 3" square white cardstock for building ✔︎ One 6" x 4" rectangle white cardstock for community helper cut-out (For students who want to draw their community helper from scratch) ✔︎ Copy of Community Helpers Cut-Outs Printable in Session Resources printed on white cardstock paper (optional) (For students who want help drawing their community helper)
