Course Description

Join us as we explore the world of extraordinary animals! Each class in this course will include: • Brief description and fascinating visual presentation about the animals • Basic drawing lesson • Time for creating one or both animals (draw, paint, build, or sculpt) • Show and Tell Students can select their favorite medium for creating their animals: crayons, colored pencils, gel pens, markers, paint, Legos, clay, etc. Students may bring a notebook and pen for note-taking.

Content Considerations

The Hercules Beetle is named after the mythological figure, Hercules, which will be mentioned in class. The Goliath Beetle is named after Goliath in the Bible, which will be mentioned in class.
