Learning proper etiquette and manners has never been so fun! This role-playing class is filled with body movement, laughter, and lessons that will (hopefully) be remembered for a lifetime.
George Washington was about 14 years old when he wrote the 110 Rules of Civility and Decent Behavior in his school notebook. While many of these rules still apply today, others do not. In this class we will explore a number of rules, role-playing them as we go. First, we will act out the rules incorrectly. Next, we will act out the rules correctly. Finally, we will discuss whether or not the rules still apply today. Parents may view the list of 110 rules for free online if desired. However, the children do not need to view the rules before class.
First, we will act out the rules incorrectly. Next, we will act out the rules correctly. Finally, we will discuss whether or not the rule still applies today. We will cover as many rules in class as time permits.
No supplies needed. However, children will need plenty of space to move freely without injury.
