Course Description

At the beginning of each class in this seven-part course, I will read aloud a chapter from the book. As I read, students will: • illustrate the chapter • practice comprehension skills At the end of each chapter, we will: • summarize the chapter • record chapter summary • discuss positive character traits found in the chapter ★ At the end of four classes, students will have a collection of chapter art, summaries, and character lessons to remind them of this classic story.
