Course Description

English (Grades 5-12): Students can receive expert guidance in multiple areas of English language arts, including grammar fundamentals, writing skills across various formats (essays, creative writing, research papers), literature analysis and interpretation, and reading comprehension strategies. Whether your student needs help understanding a challenging novel, crafting a compelling essay, or mastering grammar rules, our tutors provide targeted support to build confidence and competence. History (Grades 5-12): Our history tutoring covers a comprehensive range of subjects including World History, US History, and Geography. Students will develop critical thinking skills, learn to analyze historical events and their significance, understand cause-and-effect relationships, and make connections between past and present. From ancient civilizations to modern events, we help students engage with historical content in meaningful ways. Math (Elementary through Algebra 1): Math tutoring is available for any topic from elementary mathematics through Algebra 1. This includes foundational arithmetic, fractions and decimals, geometry basics, pre-algebra concepts, and algebraic thinking. Our tutors break down complex problems into manageable steps, help students understand underlying concepts, and build problem-solving skills that lead to lasting mathematical confidence. Each 30-minute session is personalized to meet your student where they are and help them progress toward their academic goals. **** Tutoring Session Cancellation Policy Student Cancellations More than 24 hours notice: Full refund will be provided for the scheduled session. Less than 24 hours notice: No refund will be issued. The full session fee remains. Tutor Cancellations If the tutor needs to cancel a scheduled session for any reason, a full refund will be provided to the student. Notice Period Calculation The 24-hour notice period is calculated from the scheduled start time of the tutoring session. For example, a session scheduled for Tuesday at 3:00 PM would require cancellation by Monday at 3:00 PM to qualify for a refund. Supplies

Students and/or parents must provide detailed information on learning goals, subject material, and lessons in messages with the tutor either prior to starting or in the first session.
